What to anticipate during the replacement of septic system components:

1. Receive a free estimate.
2. Submit signed paperwork to our office.
3. Our team will compile a minor repair permit packet.
4. The permit will be submitted to the county, reviewed, and issued within a couple of days by your local county.
5. Once permits are issued, locates will be arranged, and a technician will contact you to schedule the installation day.
6. On the installation day, our DEQ certified technicians will arrive with materials and equipment. In just a few hours, your components will be replaced, good as new.
7. The next day, a County Inspector will inspect our work to ensure it complies with county code and is completed satisfactorily.
8. We'll promptly backfill and cover your components, ensuring they are level with the ground.
9. Finalize the process by seeding the area with grass, and the job is complete!

When dealing with more intricate components like a drain field or ATT system, the process is similar, with some minor variations:

• Permit Packets and County issuing times may take slightly longer as they require a Major Repair Permit.
• Installation on these components might take a day or two, as opposed to a couple of hours.

In residential settings, the most common replacements involve septic tanks. Many septic tanks installed before 1990 were made of steel, which is not ideal due to rusting and brittleness under normal septic conditions.

Common residential tank sizes are either 1000 gallons or 1500 gallons. A 1000-gallon tank is suitable for up to four bedrooms, while five bedrooms or more require a 1500-gallon tank, per County requirements.
