Our DEQ certified team can provide a comprehensive eight page inspection report for your entire Septic System. These reports are most commonly used in real estate transactions!
The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality recommends seeking a professional evaluation for your septic system when buying or selling a home.
Here's what you should be aware of:
While septic system evaluations are optional, if you choose to have one, you must use the approved form. The inspection involves an eight-page DEQ Inspection report detailing both tank condition and functionality. Typically conducted during real estate transactions, these evaluations cater to agents, homebuyers, and home sellers. Pumping is commonly performed at the time of service to ensure a comprehensive inspection and accurate completion of the report.
Who can perform this service?
DEQ mandates that evaluators fall into one of the following categories: an installer, maintenance provider, wastewater specialist, environmental health specialist, or a National Association of Wastewater Technicians (NAWT) certified inspector with experience in inspecting existing septic systems.
